Hello, I'm
Curious mind. Steady builder. Ready for the next challenge.
Learn More About MeI'm a high school student from the Pacific Northwest with a deep curiosity for science, technology, and how things work.
Whether I'm racing down a mountain bike trail, skiing in the Cascades, strategizing on the soccer field, or exploring how virtual reality could transform the way we experience the world, I bring the same steady focus and determination to everything I do.
I'm a structured thinker who thrives on clear challenges, but I'm also learning to embrace the open-ended questions that make life and learning more interesting. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games with friends, and diving into topics that fascinate me, from medicine to technology. My classmates know me as someone who is dependable, thoughtful, and always ready to help.

Staying active, building teamwork, and embracing adventure
Soccer has been my longest commitment. Through years of team play, I've learned the value of discipline, communication, and working together toward a common goal. Every game is a lesson in reading the field, adapting to the moment, and trusting my teammates.
Living in the Pacific Northwest gives me access to some of the best trails in the country. Mountain biking challenges me physically and mentally. Navigating rocky descents and steep climbs has taught me to stay calm under pressure and push through discomfort.
Rowing has introduced me to a different kind of teamwork, one where perfect synchronization matters as much as individual strength. The precision and rhythm of the sport appeal to my structured approach to challenges.
Swimming is where I find focus and calm. The meditative rhythm of laps in the pool helps me clear my mind and build endurance. It's a sport where improvement is deeply personal and always measurable.
Self-directed explorations that reflect my curiosity and initiative
A self-initiated research project where I explored the science behind tetanus, investigating how the disease works at both microscopic and macroscopic levels. I created an informational resource covering symptoms, prevention, and treatment to help raise awareness about this serious but preventable condition.
"I was curious about tetanus because I'm interested in medicine and wanted to see how a disease worked at the micro and macroscopic level."

One of my biggest dreams is to develop immersive VR technology that allows people to experience physical sensations. I'm fascinated by the potential of VR in fields like therapy, education, and accessibility. Imagine a world where someone could experience the sensation of walking on a beach or climbing a mountain, even if they physically can't. This intersection of technology and human experience is where I want to make my mark.
I'm fascinated by how the human body works and how diseases operate at both microscopic and macroscopic levels. This curiosity led me to create my own research project on tetanus, exploring everything from how the bacteria affects the nervous system to how vaccines prevent infection. I see medicine as a field where scientific rigor meets real human impact, and I want to keep exploring that intersection.
I'm drawn to understanding how things work at a fundamental level. Whether it's a science project or exploring physics concepts in my free time, I approach problems methodically and enjoy the process of discovery. I believe that real innovation comes from asking the right questions and being patient enough to find the answers.
Writing gives me a way to process experiences and share stories. Through descriptive essays and personal narratives, I've discovered that I can bring moments to life with vivid detail. I enjoy the challenge of capturing emotions and sensory experiences on the page, finding just the right words to make a reader feel what I felt.
Milton Academy represents the exact kind of community where I know I can grow: intellectually rigorous, deeply collaborative, and committed to developing the whole person.
Milton's emphasis on critical thinking and open-ended inquiry pushes students beyond rote learning. As a structured thinker ready to embrace more ambiguity, I'm excited by a curriculum that will challenge me to think deeply, question assumptions, and engage with ideas from multiple perspectives.
Milton's motto, "Dare to be true," resonates with me. I value authenticity and believe that a community built on honesty and mutual respect brings out the best in every student. I want to contribute to and grow within a community that values integrity as much as achievement.
Milton's strong athletics program, including competitive soccer, aligns perfectly with my passion for team sports. The school's commitment to athletics as a means of character development mirrors my own belief that the lessons learned on the field carry into every other aspect of life.
Milton's track record of preparing students for top universities, combined with its emphasis on developing independent thinkers, makes it the ideal next step in my educational journey. I'm ready for the challenge and excited to bring my determination, curiosity, and collaborative spirit to Milton's campus.
I'd love to connect and share more about my journey
